Coronavirus vaccine is developed but first, it will be tested on humans

First, four humans have gone through clinical trials with the potential coronavirus vaccine that is developed by the National Institute of Health and the private biotech company Moderna. Forty-five more people will participate in the on-going trial. The vaccine after testing, it does not pose any physical threats to human beings will be available to the general public after a year. The administration of this vaccine was conducted in Kaiser Permanente Washington Health Research Institute in Seattle. The patients tested with the potential vaccine were not screen for the severity of the coronavirus.

It will almost take 18 months to make sure that the clinical trials were successful and that the vaccine can be made public for general human beings. there will be two cycles, the second dose will be given after a month span of the first does, first they will be given a mild dose and afterwards, a higher dose will be given to the subjects. In just 42 days, the vaccine was created. Harmless spike proteins are used to construct the vaccine. Antibodies will be created in a person body, when injected with vaccine and when the virus will attack the body, the body will be prone to it. Spike proteins are the one through which the coronavirus attaches itself to a person’s body.

if the vaccine is approved then it could have been the very first messenger RNA sequences and it will not include the virus. Therefore, it will not infect the patients with the virus, although it cannot be realised right now if the vaccine has no potential side effects. Various other vaccine are also in the process of creations and researchers are trying to make the vaccine as effective and as less risky as possible.
