Just in, after the news conference on current update regarding the pandemic, PM IMRAN KHAN has instrcted that the lockdown will be eased starting from may 9 in pakistan. Public transport will be up and running, although the current lockdown had no effect, people were gathered in bazars from mornig till 5pm, therefore, if it does not have any effect than why stop this at 5p.m let it running like that. PM insisted that still we are not under pressure like european nations, the curve of cases is going up but still its not that deadly.
He also said that we dont have a complete concensus to open the oublic transport, since most of the provinces do not agree on that decision. Also it was beig said in the news conference that 125,000 palistanis wanted to come back to country, but we have to keep them in quarantine, and we have to test them, since we dont have much resources yet. We are going to run the flights in different segments. The capacity that we can avail, we only allow given number of people to come back to theirown country.
