Topibaaz wants that this post should be read by his Turkish brothers and sisters and that is the reason why this post will be published in Turkish also. 100 years ago Muslims from this region, which used to be India in 1920, helped the Turkish regime and this was both financial and moral help. There is a dedicated Turkish drama channel called urdu one, which shows Turkish dramas with Urdu translation in Pakistan. Although, according to Topibaaz, Turkish is a very beautiful language and we all should be learning it, and it is a good way to watch Turkish dramas in the Turkish language, with English subtitles. Why do we watch Turkish dramas, because we share both cultural, religious and moral values with the Turkish nation? Pakistan’s founder Muhammad Ali Jinnah was also fond of the Great Mustafa Kemal Ataturk, and he seeks to follow the same path of modernism and cultural development that Mustafa Kemal Ataturk did for Turkey.

Muslims of Pakistan took inspiration from the Turkish war of independence and they had been following the ottoman’s roots for centuries for their courage and valor in the battlefields. And how the Great Sultan Mehmed the second conquered Constantinople. Malik Feroz khan on the order of Muhammad Ali Jinnah went to turkey to support the Turkish agenda in 1947 when Pakistan was just two months old. He stated to the Turkish brethren that Pakistan is a newborn child and will always admire the Turkish past, its culture and its administration in the region and in future the two nations will grow side by side like brothers. On March 4, 1948, the first Turkish ambassador was appointed in Pakistan. Yahya Kemal Beyatli was the name of the very first ambassador of Turkey to Pakistan. Jinnah at the time said, that Pakistan respects and applauds the struggle of Turkish leaders and their people since they fought without any help with their adversaries in Europe. He also said that now that both countries are free, Pakistan has the same feelings and esteem for Turkey like any Turkish national. Its time now that both countries should strengthen their ties with each other for mutual co-operation on strategic forefronts. Jinnah also said that people of both countries will co-operation on the cultural and political level so that we two brother nations can achieve true greatness in this world. Fast forward to today, Pakistan is a big force in the region, as it is the only nuclear state in the region, it has a big say in regional politics.

None of the leaders of the countries that come to Pakistan are given the stage to address the National assembly, but Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has addressed from the National Assembly like he was referring to his own nation. That shows the level of co-operation and brotherhood among the countries. Topibaaz still feels that Pakistan turkey should be more close and closer than ever since it feels like these nations live in different regions but they come under the same flags. You can see the resemblance from the two flags, both have a moon and a star, and most probably the Pakistani flag took the inspiration from the Turkish one. Topibaaz thinks that there should be no visa regime among the two countries and people from both countries should be allowed to travel freely to both the countries, one day in Istanbul, the other in Islamabad. That’s the dream of Topibaaz and one day inshAllah it will come true. Topibaaz just wants to personally say to his Turkish brothers and sisters, that when there was a coup in turkey, we Pakistanis were praying day and night and we were as worried as we had our own house on fire.

Long live the brotherhood, Long live the Turkey and Pakistan!
